KNF acts as the philanthropic arm of the Kansas State Nurses Association, Inc. (KSNA).
The mission of KNF is to advance the nursing profession by supporting the career development of Kansas nurses.
The purposes of the KNF are to:
- Receive and manage funds derived from multiple sources, such as memorials, gifts, grants, and contributions; and,
- Apply the income via grants, loans, or scholarships to individuals, organizations, and institutions engaged in and supporting the following activities in Kansas:
- Nursing education,
- Scientific activities/research, and
- Special projects in Kansas, as approved by the KNF Governing Board.
